MY EXPERIENCES AND CREDENTIALS
Helena Wallberg, M. Ed. & MSE
I graduated from teacher training college in 1994, having spent two terms abroad to learn languages and to train as a teacher in primary schools in France and in Wales.

I then worked as a teacher in three different high schools in the Stockholm area teaching English, French and Pedagogical leadership. In 2012 I obtained a Master's degree in Special Education.

Having authored two books on formative assessment I started working part time as an educational consultant while staying in school to teach and coordinating special education needs at both individual and organizational levels.
In 2017 I left my school to work at the ministry of education and then moved on to work as a quality developer for a group of high schools.
After more books it was time to cast off as a full time consultant. Today my work consists of teacher development programs, lectures, projects to implement new ways of working both in the classroom and in the school as a whole. Collegial and collective learning are a priority and I promote a Whole School Approach.

My clients range from the ministry of education to individual schools.

Writing is an important part of my work, I write books and articles for various educational magazines. My blog, The Inclusive Classroom is one of the largest blogs in Sweden on inclusive education.
